Accutane Day 111 (end of high dosage)

Well, I have come a very long way. My skin is not perfect, but I can not complain about the progress which I have made. Tomorrow I will take my last dosage of 60mg of accutane. However, as I mentioned in an earlier post, I will be staying on a low dosage for 10 weeks. I will be taking 40mg every 2-3 days until mid-April. I am sooo excited to be acne free. It is so close :)))))

Not much to say. I got a couple of small pimples a couple days ago, but I think they were just deep things finally coming out.

I have come a long way with this drug. Although my skin is not 100% clear yet, it is 100 times BETTER than what is was three months ago. One thing I continue to struggle with is picking my skin. It's so hard to stop! But I have to or it won't heal properly. For the MOST part, I keep my hands off.
My back is FINALLY 100% clear! yay!

Accutane Day 88 (still persisting..)

Well... at this point, I always have 3-6 spots on my face.. particularly on my right cheek. Once some dry up, more impurities come to the surface. I know I shouldn't pick.. but when they come to the surface like that they are just BEGGING me to squeeze them out. What I do to squeeze them out is I put a really hot towel on my face for 3-4 minutes. Then I use q-tips. DO NOT USE FINGERNAILS EVER! Here is today.. I'm a little bummed. But I know this drug is working for me. Slowly... but surely.

Accutane Day 83

Lately, my skin is very volatile. It seems like it is getting really good, and then I'll randomly get another one or two bumps. I got a pretty decent sized one the other day. It's beginning to shrink. Overall, my complexion is very nice.
